Election day is November 3, 2026, but early voting begins on September 18, 2026!

If you aren’t sure if you are registered to vote, you can always check the Virginia Department of Elections website by clicking HERE.

You can go to your local Election Department registrar located at 107 N. East Lane, Winchester, VA 22601, or mail your registration application to that same address that can be obtained from the Election Department website HERE.

The easiest way to find out is to check your registration status (answered a few questions above) from the Virginia Department of Elections website HERE. Otherwise, there are two precincts in Ward 1 that you may be directed to depending on your address:
0101 - Merrimans Precinct - John Kerr Elementary School - 427 Meadow Branch Avenue
0102 - Old Town Precinct - Christ Episcopal Church - 132 W. Boscawen Street

Yes! Virginia allows same-day registration for voting, so you can still submit a provisional ballot that will later be reviewed to ensure address verification. Every vote matters, especially in local elections like this where sometimes elections can come down to ONE vote!
